Welcome Back!

We would like to take the opportunity to welcome all incoming and current students to West!  We have a great year planned and are excited to continue building the spirit and culture of West.  School starts for students on Wednesday September, 2, 2015 at 7:42am.  When you arrive at school, please be sure to check the walls in the cafeteria for your advisory classroom.  Once you get to advisory, you will get your schedule and a lot of additional information that will need to go home and discussed with parents/guardians.

PSAT Scores Have Been Distributed to Students
Please be sure to ask your son or daughter to see their PSAT scores.  The PSAT/NMSQT Program provides valuable resources that help students prepare for the SAT and take important first steps toward college.  It allows eligible 11th grade students to enter scholarship and recognition programs, and provides younger students in grades 10 with early feedback on academic skills they can work to improve.  To get a personalized tutorial for your student, go to www.collegeboard.org, enter My College Quickstart in the search bar and click Online PSAT/NMSQT Scores at the top of the page.  From there, you or your son/daughter will be prompted to enter their access code, which can be found at the bottom of their score report. This will give them a personalized tutorial to help them practice areas they were weak on the test to help them improve their scores for next year or on the SAT.  The My College Quickstart page also offers a personality test for career search purposes and a college search option.
