West High School is pleased to once again be administering the PSAT to all sophomores free of charge and any paying juniors on Wednesday, October 10th from 7:45 am- approximately 11:30 am.  The PSAT is the practice test for the SAT which is required by most four year colleges.  Juniors who are planning to go to a four year college are encouraged to take it again.  The price for juniors is $25.00 and they can pay with cash, check or money order (made out to Manchester High School West) in the guidance office no later than Thursday, October 4th.  Students can practice for this test at www.khanacademy.org and/or download the SAT Question of the Day App.  For test day, parents please be sure your son or daughter gets a good night's sleep, eats a good breakfast, arrives to school on time and has their school ID, a few #2 pencils and a calculator.

JUNIOR SAT SCHOOL DAY SCORES!

Student Access to Scores

  1. Students will need a College Board account to view their scores.
  2. If they do not already have one, please direct students to www.collegeboard.org to register for an account.

Please note:  Some scores will be released later for reasons that may include participation in the accommodated testing window or on the makeup testing date, late receipt of answer sheets, missing information on the answer sheet, or other exceptional conditions that require additional attention.

Matching College Board Student Accounts and Registration

  • If a student is signed into his/her College Board account, but does not see his/her score, it means we were not able to automatically link the student score report to the student account.
  • For security reasons, a student must verify additional information before we can display his/her scores.
  • The student will need either his/her SAT registration number or the Student ID number the student was pre-identified with by the school/district or state.
  • To match, the student will:

1.      Click PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9 Scores

2.      Scroll down and click on Matching Tool.

3.      Review the personal information.

4.       If any information is incorrect or missing, click Update to revise (Students will be prompted to re-enter their password.)

5.       If the information is correct, click Get My Scores.

6.       The student will have to provide either test information (test date and registration number) or his/her Student ID number

a.       The registration number can be found in the Roster Report of the K-12 Reporting Portal.

  • There may still be cases in which a student is not able to view his/her scores using the steps above because the information is too different or the scores have not yet been finalized.
  • If students cannot view their scores, they should call the College Board’s Student SAT Helpline at 1-866-756-7346.
