Dates:  February 1-19, 2016

We are looking for:

  • Gently used adult/young adult clothing.  Items should be clean and wearable.  

  • Toiletries.  Such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant.  These items should be new.

  • NEW men’s/women’s socks and underwear

This drive will benefit:

  • WHS clothing closet/pantry.

  • Child & Family Services Teen Drop-In Center

Items may be brought to:

  • Guidance

  • Mr. Ducharme’s room 209B

We’ll also take your cash!

  • Cash/Checks made payable to Manchester High School West accepted.  Money should be given directly to Mr. Glass.  All money collected will go toward buying toiletries, socks, and underwear.

FAFSA Filing Time for Parents of College-Bound Seniors!

This is just a reminder to parents of college-bound seniors that you can begin filing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) now that you know last year's income information at  You will want to complete this as soon as you can.  If you have any questions while filing, feel free to call NHHEAF at 1-888-7-GRADUATE x-119 (free service for NH students and parents) or Sharon Eaton at UNHM at 641-4114.  You can also go to on-line.  West will be hosting a FAFSA Day here at West if you need more help on Wednesday, February 3rd from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.  Please call your child's counselor if you would like to sign up to attend our February 3rd FAFSA Day at 624-6384.

PSAT Score Reports:  

In early October, Sophomores took the PSAT during the school day at West.  We just received word from the College Board that score reports will be available a little later than normal.  Score reports are expected as follows:   On January 7th students will be able to access their scores on-line and paper score reports will be available on January 20th.

STEAM Ahead Sign Ups are now open to all 8th graders who are interested in attending Manchester West for the STEAM Ahead program.  Please click here to sign up!

Parents wishing to communicate with their child's teachers should either call the school at 603/624-6384 or e-mail them. Teachers' e-mail addresses can be found in the "Staff Directory" selection on this home page.  If your attempts to reach a teacher are unsuccessful, please notify your student's administrator.

Attention Parents:

Any electronic device that is confiscated by a West High School staff member will be turned in to the Main Office, and can only be retrieved by a parent.  You may sign for your student's device in the Main Office during the day, before 3:15 pm.
