SUMMER LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY

posted Jun 1, 2017, 6:57 AM by Eli Glass

Our signature Summer Leadership Program (July 9-14) is a dynamic residential week of leadership development, self-discovery, and social connection that brings motivated high school students from across NH and New England together through experiential workshops designed as catalysts for personal values exploration and increased school and civic engagement. Throughout the week, participants also increase their knowledge in a variety of valuable peer mentoring topics including substance misuse and addiction, bullying prevention & building positive school climate, sexual health, conflict resolution, and health and wellness. The program connects participants with their local peers and school community action organizations so they can channel this new energy toward the betterment of their home communities. Furthermore, after experiencing this intensive week of building essential leadership skills and networking with other leaders, students will not only benefit their school and communities but also have these acquired skills inform & enhance their future academic and professional endeavors.

The camp is held at Lions Camp Pride in New Durham and is normally $800, but we have a lot of full and partial need based scholarship available to students. For example, when I was a participant I was able to go for $100 thanks to those scholarships.
