Student-athletes who excelled in track and field during the spring season pose for a photo Monday night during the board of school committee.

MANCHESTER – At Monday's Board of School Committee meeting, Athletic Director Christine Pariseau-Telge was on hand to help recognize student-athletes who excelled in track and field this spring. 

Two of those athletes – Memorial's Hannah Rodriguez and West's Eshaya Lauder – were on hand to be recognized along with their coaches. Here are all of the student-athletes recognized on Monday night: 

Central runner Harriet Barber, who set a new state record in the 400 meter dash, and won both the 200 meter dash and 400 meter dash in the Division I state meet. Harriet also qualified for the New Balance National track meet for the 400 meter dash.

Memorial runner AJ Sebastien, who won the meet of champions in both the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash, and qualified and competed at the New Balance National track meet in the 100 meter dash.

Memorial long jumper Hannah Rodriquez, who placed 2nd in the event in the Meet of Champions.

West long jumper Eshaya Lauder, who placed 1st in the event in the Division 2 state meet as well as 5th in the high jump.

Memorial heptathlete Ayomide Sanni, who placed 9th in the state in the two-day competition.

Memorial decathlete Alexis Rivera, who placed 6th in the state in the two-day competition.
