Interested in Fall Football?
Click here for Why Football Matters
Football is a great sport for young people to learn to work together to achieve a goal. It is also a great way to form new relationships with coaches/adults who care about their growth and development both in school and out of school. Football is built on prolonged, not instant, gratification. Players will practice far more than they will play and will win and lose as a team. It is hard and physical. It can't be "faked" and it forces young men to care about something greater than themselves.
I also want you to know that the most important thing to me and my staff is your child's health, wellness and safety. It is at the core of everything we do and every decision we make. We do not take this lightly and are committed to acquiring the best equipment and teaching the best techniques to play this great sport in a safe and fun manner.
We hope you will consider allowing your child to make this commitment.
Once registered, your athlete will be eligible to participate in:
Off-season 7 on 7 competitions vs Central, Memorial and Pembroke
4 Day Joint Football Camp in August
We will also be having a Pre-Season Parents meeting on Monday June 10th from 6pm to 7pm in the West gym.
This year we have acquired new uniforms, helmets and shoulder pads and are on pace for one of our largest teams in 20 years. It is a great time to be a Blue Knight!
As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,
Coach Provencher
